I just found out that Touched by Death, my thriller/ RS book has made it to round 2 of the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award Contest in the Mystery/Thriller category. It was one of 400 selected – out of 10,000 – to advance to the next round!

She can’t quit, she needs this job. And then there’s the yummy vet. Who turns out to live across the street from her in a much bigger house than her tiny house. Big enough to hold a few animals – including the mouthy Mosey. With all this going on, she doesn’t have time to worry about the rash of break-ins and the sense of being watched. She’s too busy worrying that she’s nuts.

When Ninna agrees to dog sit for the cute vet from work, she sees it as a trial at being a pet owner and a way to build on her budding relationship with the vet. For Mosey, this weekend means time to get to know each other.

So, let’s take a look a what exactly I’m doing. I’m currently revising VID3 and writing DD3. Confused? Yes, and no wonder.  So VID3 stands for the 3rd book in the Vampire in Denial series. The tentative title for this book is Vampire in Design. After all, Tessa’s adventures have taken her into the labs where the new designer vampires are being produce

And yes, I’m constantly getting emails asking for this book. It might not be everyone’s cup of tea but for the voracious readers over at Wattpad, this series is it!

Now DD3, I’m sure you can guess, is my Design series. This book is tentatively titled Desperate Designs. I’m writing this book at the rate of 1k to 1.5k words a day. It’s expected to be released at the end of March, early April. This is Storey’s adventures as she finds herself caught in the world in-between dimension.

Yes, I like to make my characters work for their space on the page.

As for adult books? No worries, I have the first book in a brand new romantic suspense up for rewrite before hitting the editor in mid-February! Hotter, more romance, less of the thriller or the -oh-boy-I-won’t-sleep-now-that-I’ve-read-this stuff and more of the sexy scenes and great chemistry! but still mega danger, a little too close for home for some of us, but not so bad as my Death series.

What you didn’t know I had a Death series? Well, neither did I…until I had a brutal nightmare and realized it was book 2 in the series that started with Touched by Death! No I don’t have a name for that book. But if you do…let me know
